We were never looking for a business.
We were looking for a place to belong.
A motorcycle can be an escape, a classroom, a source of confidence, and a reason to keep moving forward.
It can turn strangers into friends and a difficult season of life into the beginning of something better.

WHAT STARTED AS A RIDE BECAME A FAMILY
It started with CJ. Riding was therapy—a way to clear the mind and find focus after the noise of the day. What began as solo trips soon attracted others who shared the same need for the road. Ride in the 405 was born from a simple Discord server, and today it has grown into a family of 200+ members who ride, eat, and build together. We realized that our community was growing faster than we ever imagined, and we needed a place to call home.

We are not asking the community to take a risk that we are unwilling to take ourselves.
We have invested our own capital, time, labor, and financial security to secure the foundation of The Bike Yard. This isn't just a business plan; it is a commitment to a community we belong to. Crowdfunding does not replace our
commitment. It gives the project a stronger, safer beginning and helps us build more of the space correctly from day one.

Our priority is serving Oklahoma City riders. Every decision, from tool selection to event planning, is driven by the feedback and needs of our members. The purpose is not to own the riding community. It is to build infrastructure the entire community can use.

"I did not start riding because I wanted to build a business. I started riding because I was trying to find my way back to myself."
Before motorcycles, I spent a lot of time inside my own walls. I
was isolated, deeply antisocial, and struggling with depression.
Leaving the house felt harder than it should have, and I had no
idea that a motorcycle would become the thing that pulled me
back into the world.
Riding became therapy. It gave me a reason to get out of the
house, somewhere to place the stress I was carrying, and
enough quiet inside my helmet to breathe again. Slowly, the bike
became more than an outlet. It became confidence, connection,
and a life filled with people I never would have met otherwise.
That change led me to create Ride in the 405. What began as a
small Oklahoma City Discord has grown into a community of
more than 200 local riders who meet throughout the week, ride
together, eat together, celebrate together, and show up when
someone needs help.
I also bring the business side of this project. I am a Marine
veteran and have spent the last ten years building and operating
a successful six-figure dog training business. That experience
taught me how to earn trust, serve clients, manage risk, market a
vision, lead a team, and keep a business moving through difficult
seasons.
The Bike Yard is where those two parts of my life meet: the
business experience I have spent a decade building and the
motorcycle community that helped change my life.
This will not be a clubhouse only for Ride in the 405. I want every
local riding group, independent rider, beginner, veteran, sportbike
rider, cruiser rider, and motorcycle enthusiast to feel that this
place belongs to them too

TONY Kim
RIDER OF 19 YEARS • OPERATIONS LEADER • SAFETY ADVOCATE
“Motorcycles have been one of the few
things in my life I have never grown tired of. They are freedom, personality, and
belonging.”
Tony still remembers the first motorcycle that caught his attention: a toy police bike with flashing red lights. That childhood fascination
never disappeared. Over the last 19 years, he has ridden dirt bikes,
cruisers, sportbikes, adventure bikes, and a few machines that barely fit into any category at all.
For Tony, motorcycles are not simply transportation or machinery.
They are a canvas for personality and one of the clearest ways he
has ever found to experience freedom and community.
His professional background gives the project a strong operational
foundation. In managerial operations with the United States Postal
Service, Tony has led one of the highest-rated facilities in the country and has been sent to facilities in multiple states to teach, train, and share the systems and processes he helped build.
But the reason he belongs in The Bike Yard is not only what he has
managed. It is what he has given. Tony has spent years teaching
newer riders techniques, basic maintenance, and the lessons that
experience usually makes people learn the hard way.
He believes knowledge matters most when it is passed forward.
At The Bike Yard, Tony will help turn a heartfelt idea into a disciplined, safe, and sustainable operation without losing the community-first
purpose that made the idea worth building.
CO-FOUNDER, BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE
COREY Blank
“A strong community space needs more than a good idea. It needs systems people can trust and a shop that works in the real world.”
A Cybersecurity Engineer by trade, Corey oversees the
behind-the-scenes business architecture, digital
systems, security, and operational technology planned
for The Bike Yard. From member access and
reservations to internal workflows and long-term
systems planning, his role is to help make the
experience feel simple for members because the hard
work has been handled behind the scenes.
Working in the IT field, Corey has developed a talent for turning ambitious ideas into practical realities. He excels at cutting through complexity, transforming abstract concepts into clear, actionable strategies. By bridging vision with execution, Corey will help build a sustainable organization.
As an active rider, Corey has moved from entry-level
platforms into high-performance 600cc sportbikes. That
journey gives him a practical connection to both new
riders and experienced enthusiasts.
Corey brings the structure that helps passion
survive growth. His work is focused on building a shop
that is secure, organized, scalable, and ready to serve
the community long after opening day.

The core of The Bike Yard will be clean, organized
hobby bays that members can reserve by the hour or
day. Only members will be permitted to use working
bays, subject to safety orientation, waivers, shop
rules, and equipment policies.
The goal is not to make riders dependent on a
mechanic. The goal is to give riders the space, tools,
and confidence to understand their own machines.
